Ocho and T.O.-Will It Work?

In looking at the combination of Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens, I gotta believe that this is either going to be an unbelievable combination like never seen before or a nuclear explosion about to detonate.  While they are saying all the right things, I really question if this can work….Here is my take on it.  I may be wrong (I have been before) but I personally don’t believe that it will work.  I think the explosion is only a matter of time.  Why you ask?  Well thanks for asking.




Let’s first look at history.  T.O. always ends up throwing someone under the bus when things don’t go his way.  It ALWAYS happens.  And Ocho loves attention as much, if not more than T.O.  Someone in this duo will feel neglected.  Either with not enough passes to them or not enough attention.

And look at how they each view the pairing.  T.O. calls himself Batman with Ocho being Robin.  Ocho, on the other hand, calls himself Clyde and T.O. Bonnie.  Hmmm who’s leading this dance?

The bottom line is too much ego for one wide receiver corps and one football team.  I believe the explosion will happen before the halfway point in this football season.

    I understand why you would think T.O. and Ocho won’t work out but I personally think it will workout. I don’t think they will be a dominant as some people think but I think they will pretty darn good. I believe T.O. has actually matured and realized that his time is limited to win a Superbowl. Plus with the little interest he has been drawing from teams these past two off-seasons he knows it is now or never. I also believe that Ocho would be fine not having the huge numbers, cause if the Bengals are winning then they will be talked about and that gives Ocho plenty of face time.

    I will be surprised if T.O. has really matured, but it will be interesting to see. It will be great for Bengals fans if this does work.
